Matter, (anything that has weight & can occupy space)

I love you like a cherry blossom tree
spreads her petals in spring. I love you like a
drowning man grabs for air. What I mean is
that I love you like a flower
waiting outside a window for
one last hug from the sun. I love you
like an expensive simile. I love you
with the strength of a gazillion horses.
I love you like my wildest
imagination: that fairies might be
watching us. I love you as far as the
wind goes.
& what is love, if not a
temporary vessel for
gathering falling leaves.
