Regular Submissions Notice
1)We receive all submission through our email: artsloungenyc@gmail.com
2)Our entries are read on a monthly rolling basis.
3)We reply to all submission from one to three weeks. After this period, you can query us on the status of your work.
4)Simultaneous submission is allowed. Just notify us if your work is accepted elsewhere.
5)Submission is free.
6)On no account shall we accept any dehumanizing, degrading or oppressive work. All submissions are subject to AI check. We do not accept works written by AI.
7)If you wish to withdraw your submission, send us a message through our email address to avoid confusion.

Rules
Send a maximum of three poems of any length, and a prose/CNF/ interview/ review of no more than 3500 words in word docs, single spaced, Times New Roman. Pictures and videos are also accepted. Include a cover letter in the same document as your entry.
Payment: we pay $15 for accepted poems, and to $30 for longer pieces.

At Arts Lounge Literary Magazine, we are committed to publishing original, thought-provoking, and high-quality creative and critical works while treating every contributor with fairness, professionalism, and respect.

By submitting work to Arts Lounge, authors confirm that their submission is their original work, does not infringe upon the rights of others, and is not under consideration or previously published elsewhere unless explicitly permitted by our submission guidelines.

Authors retain the copyright to their work. By accepting publication with Arts Lounge, contributors grant the magazine a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to publish, archive, distribute, and promote the accepted work across our print, digital, and social media platforms. This allows authors to continue using, republishing, or including their work in future collections, anthologies, or books, provided that Arts Lounge is acknowledged as the place of first publication where applicable.

Arts Lounge reserves the right to edit accepted submissions for grammar, punctuation, formatting, style, clarity, and consistency. Any edits that materially affect the meaning, voice, or structure of a work will be discussed with the author before publication whenever reasonably possible.

Acceptance for publication does not guarantee immediate publication. Editorial decisions regarding publication schedules, issue placement, artwork, formatting, headlines, and promotional materials remain solely at the discretion of the editorial team.

While every effort is made to preserve published works indefinitely, Arts Lounge cannot guarantee permanent online availability due to technical, legal, or operational circumstances. The magazine reserves the right to remove published material if required by law, in cases of proven plagiarism, copyright infringement, ethical violations, or other exceptional circumstances.

The views and opinions expressed in published works belong solely to their respective authors and do not necessarily reflect those of Arts Lounge Literary Magazine, its editors, staff, or affiliates.
