Below is the shortlist for the 1st Quarter of The Wakaso Poetry Prize, 2024:

A total of 75 entries were recorded. Submission entries came in from Nigeria( with 66 entries,) Kenya( with one entry,) Ghana( with 6 entries,) and Uganda( with 2 entries.) A total of 5 entries were disqualified.
