Afrexbank officially announces the launching of The CANEX Prize for Publishing in Africa. Publishers in Africa are invited to submit published trade books.

The CANEX Book Factory in partnership with the Narrative Landscape Press Limited, has founded this award with an aim of promoting the literary culture across Africa.

USD20,000 prize will be awarded to the best trade book. “Trade books refers to books published for a general audience, including fiction, nonfiction, and poetry and excludes textbooks and academic books.” 

Four finalists of the prize will each receive USD2,000.
