To celebrate the 90th birthday of the Nigerian playwright and novelist, Wole Soyinka, Pan African Writers Association would be hosting a symposium, alongside poetry readings and a gala night. This event will take  place on Tuesday, 9 July, 2024, at The Academy of the Kingdom Of Morocco, Rabat, Morocco. 

The Pan African Writers Association( PAWA) has always provided a forum for all writers  Africa and also the ones of African descent. Over the years it has celebrated and encouraged the establishment and recognition of writers in Africa.  

TIME: 9am GMT, 10am Morocco and Nigeria; 11am SAT, 12 noon.
