The Sokoto Book and Arts Festival (SOBAFest), Sokoto, Nigeria, graces us with its continuity. This year presents the theme of Ascension which ‘aims to highlight the growth and elevation of literary works and artistic expressions within the historic city of Sokoto.’ -Dr Wale Okediran.

Although the first two days will be celebrated virtually, the festival would still have its sole venue in Sokoto.

. Art and fashion exhibition in relation to this year’s theme.

SOBAFest 23 was a blast. It ran through the lines of creativity and literary potency, full circle. So this year’s event isn’t aiming for anything below the standard already carved.

It begins from the 26th September, up until the 29th.
