
With “Freedom, Justice, Gender equality, democracy, and Social justice,” as themes for this edition of the African Human Rights Poetry Competition, the African Secretariat of the International Human Rights Art Movement is calling on writers to send in their entries on or before May 31st for its annual prize.
GUIDELINES
- Entries must be original and unpublished
- Entries must focus on the human rights issues listed above
- All entries must be submitted via email to wole@humanrightsartmovement.org
- Entries should be sent as attachments with Human Rights Poetry Competition Submission in the subject line
- Attach full name, country, contact details, and a biography of no more than 50 words
- Only one submission per person

Second Prize – $75
Third Prize – $50
