Awelle Creative Trust has released the longlist for her 2021 Awelle Creative Trust Awards.
The shortlist was released yesterday, February 7, 2022. It contains ten names of writers whose works impressed the judges.
“We are thrilled to release the names of the 10 writers on our ACT Award 2021 longlist,” the ACT Award communique says. Every year, we are impressed by the quality of the entries that we get and the range of the stories that young Nigerians write. This year was no different. The future of Nigerian fiction is bright indeed.

A longlist will be announced in February 2022. A shortlist of 5 will be announced in March 2022. While the winner will be announced in April 2022. The 2021 ACT Award is sponsored by Chikere Ezeh.
Awelle Creative Trust Awele Creative Trust (ACT) is a non-profit trust formed in 2013, to support literary creativity and boost literary productivity in Nigeria (through literary workshops and programs that would ensure an interface between emerging and veteran writers.
