The Commonwealth Short Story Prize is yet again open for entries. Since its inception in 2012, the prize has awarded the best short stories in the Commonwealth region. The prize is free to enter and open to citizens of Commonwealth countries who are aged 18 and over.

This year’s prize consists of a chair and five judges from the Commonwealth region: Africa, Asia, Canada and Europe, the Caribbean, and the Pacific. The judges and a chair are as follows: Bilal Tanweer (Chair), Rémy Ngamije (Judge, African region), Ameena Hussein (Judge, Asian region), Madeleine Thien (Judge, Canada and Europe region), Mac Donald Dixon (Judge, Caribbean region), and Drina Tusitala Marsh (Judge, Pacific region).
