HIASFEST, the largest teen arts festival in Nigeria, has announced AbdulRazaq Salihu (19) and Pacella Chukwuma Eke (18) as the winners of its Star Prize Category, 2024 edition. These teen authors are the Guest Speakers on the final day of HIASFEST, come January, 2024. Their speech would cut across any theme of their choice bothering the Nigerian child or youth.

The HIASFEST Star Prize is awarded annually to the most distinguished Nigerian teenage writer (male and female) “who have displayed unmatchable literary output in written text, prize wins, appearances at literary events, publishing in national and international journals, and more.”

The previous recipients of this award includes: Adamu Usman Garko, Mujahid Ameen Lilo, Zakiyyah Dzukogi, Testimony Odey, Saheed Sunday, and Isaiah Adepoju.

The winners would receive a plaque and a cash prize of fifty thousand naira.
