I think poetry should be a thing of the mind.
& not just jumbles of ambiguous words
scribbled on a piece of paper
or piles of pages 
that reeks of obscurity.
 
It should be a window 
to our vessels. 
Dispensing salve, hope 
& cleansing the hands of falsehood.
