Nollywood romantic drama Call of My Life continues to attract audiences across Nigeria since its release on May 15, 2026.

Produced by acclaimed Nigerian novelist Chigozie Obioma, best known for The Fishermen, An Orchestra of Minorities, and Road to the Country, the film explores themes of love, heartbreak, healing, fate, and second chances. Through the story of Soluchi, a hopeless romantic trying to rebuild her life after a painful breakup, the film examines the unexpected ways human connections can emerge and transform lives.

Written by Uzoamaka Power and directed by Dammy Twitch, Call of My Life follows Soluchi’s journey after her relationship with Kalu, played by Zubby Michael, falls apart. An unexpected encounter with Eli, a stranger who remembers her voice from a telecom conversation, opens a new chapter in her search for love and self-discovery.

The film features an ensemble cast that includes Beverly Osu, Nkem Owoh, Patience Ozokwor, Broda Shaggi, Justin Chukwudi Ugonna, and Ezekiel, credited as Justing UG.

Beyond its emotional grip, the film has also achieved remarkable commercial success, surpassing ₦395 million at the box office. The milestone makes it the highest-grossing romance film of 2026 so far. Nigerians seen to love good love stories on the big screen.
