— Artist’s Note
This image centers on an upward staircase using it as a metaphorical tool to describe the formation of growth and being consistent. It is, therefore, a symbol of hope and consistency.
The upward movement is a mirror reflecting on our daily struggles: the endless attempt to go beyond, the uncertainty that carries the weight of the world. Each step becomes a metaphorical tool for endurance living within the shadows of our existence, the transformation, the ambitions of where we may stand.
As a visual artist, I’m drawn to the ordinary space that holds the existence of emotional gravity. This artwork transforms a structure into the mind of a resilient soul, and the point between where we stand and where we want to be seen.
