
The Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung is offering scholarship to both national and international applicants for their master’s and PhD in Germany. Applicants can get benefits from financial assistance, academic advice, and access to a wide range of experts, researchers, and policymakers. Students who are enthusiastic about social justice, human rights, environmental sustainability, and progressive social change are especially well-suited for the scholarship.
“These scholarships, which are funded by the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, assist academically exceptional individuals who exhibit a strong commitment to democratic values and social and political activity. In addition to fostering social responsibility, critical thinking, and active engagement in society, the scholarship program seeks to advance educational possibilities for gifted children from a variety of backgrounds.”
Recipients receive financial aid as well as access to networking opportunities, mentoring programs, seminars, and workshops that promote both academic and personal growth.
To be eligible for application:
- Applicants from all nations are welcome to apply.
- Applicants for master’s degrees must be enrolled in a German university with state recognition.
- A German university’s formal acceptance or supervision confirmation is required for PhD candidates.
- Enrollment or admittance documentation is needed.
- It is necessary to have at least a B2 level of German proficiency.
- Applications can be sent in either English or German.
- It is necessary to achieve well academically.
- Participation in community, political, or social activities is favored.
- Women, those with impairments, students from non-academic or immigrant backgrounds, and those from socially disadvantaged backgrounds may be given preference.
The last date to apply for the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Scholarships 2027 in Germany for international students is 1st October 2026.
