The film right to Zainab Takes New York by Ayesha Harruna Attah has been sold to Assemble Media, a production company in New York, by Harruna’s agents at Pontas Literary & Film Agency.

The book is the fifth novel by the author, which follows a young woman who starts to find success in her work and love life in New York after her opinionated ancestors begin to give her unsolicited advice.
