The Disability Rights Fund is open for application its 2026 funds for disability rights. It is open for Letters of Interest from Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) in sub-Saharan Africa, South and South-East Asia, and Pacific Island Countries is now open. They receives submissions through their portal.

Beyond disabilities, they are receiving applications from activists and organizations who prioritize gender justice, LGBTQI+ rights, economic justice, climate justice, racial justice, youth rights, and Indigenous rights. They emphasise that beneficiaries must be an organization, and not a single individual.

The grants that will be awarded in 2026 will be under $50,000, and the time run will be a full year. The application closes on June 21, 2026. Successful applicants will be invited on July 28, 2026, and be required to complete their application before August 23, 2026. The organization will make their grant decision in December, 2026, and successful applicants are to commence on January 1, 2027.
