Applications are open year round and recruitment takes place once every year. Successful teachers receives competitive salaries. A new teacher with 4 years of education will receive $65,026 as a starting salary. A starting teacher with 6 years of education and more than 10 years of experience will receive $111,578. - To teach with CBE, all teachers require a cleared Police Information Check (PIC) with a Vulnerable Sector Search recent within 6 months of their hire date. Due to processing times of Police Information Checks, they recommend applying for a PIC as soon as possible.
- Beyond technical requirements, CBE also requires philosophical alignment with their values and approach to teaching and assessment, as well as strong evidence of TQS competencies.
