
Oxford Learning Centre is hiring for part-time High School Math Teacher to join its weekend tutorial. All Teacher-Tutors at Oxford Learning work during after-school and evening hours (4:00pm – 8:00pm) as well as some Saturdays (10:00am – 3:00pm).

Applications are open until filled. Each Tutor receives $17 per hour. Kindly note that this is not an online position. You must be on site for delivery. Suitable applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in mathematics/science. He or she must have some experience teaching/tutoring math and science at a Grade 9 to 12 (or equivalent) level, strong written and oral communication skills in English, strong math skills and the ability to guide students’ understanding.
Working as an Interactive Coach, the Tutor performs the following:
- Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels
- Teaching online and in-person
- Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
- Filling in post-lesson notes
- Completing daily student communication updates
- Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
- Giving smiles, high-Fives & producing happy students
