
The Eastern Michigan University is offering The Presidential Scholarship to deserving students for the 2026-2027 session. The Presidential Scholarship at Eastern Michigan University is for a high-achieving high school graduate and prospective undergraduates with big dreams for their college education.
“Eastern Michigan University (EMU) offers a golden opportunity to make those dreams a reality with its prestigious Presidential Scholarship. Presidential Scholars are active and engaged members of The Honors College at EMU, complementing their academic college experience with further opportunities for critical thinking, community engagement, and leadership. Qualified students can apply for the Presidential Scholarship during their senior year of high school.”
Applications are open until December 15, 2026. All applicants must apply for admission to Eastern Michigan University and submit all official transcripts and test scores by the deadline. They must also submit the Presidential Scholarship Application and all required materials by December 15, 2026. At least, each applicant must visit the University once during the 2026 calendar.
Eastern’s most prestigious award for incoming first-year students, the Presidential Scholarship, covers full tuition and room and board for four years (valued at approximately $100,000).
To be eligible, an applicant must:
- High School Senior/Incoming Freshman for Fall 2027
- Must be a high school graduate in 2026 or 2027
- Must have at least one of the following:
- A 3.85+ high school GPA (no SAT/ACT requirement) OR
- A 3.5-3.84 high school GPA and a 25 composite ACT or 1200 SAT (Critical Reading + Math)
