Heart2World Book Prize has released the longlisted authors for its 2026 competition. Announcing the news on their social media pages on September 5, 2026, the book Prize released five poets.

“Our panel of judges has carefully reviewed all the manuscripts submitted and has now arrived at the long list presented below.”

The longlist poets are Adejoke Adekunle Alagba, Bill Nwonwu, Emmanuel “Noble” Alobu, Esther Adegboyega, and Omobodunde Ajayi.

The judges appreciate those who submitted and were not part of the longlist, commanding them for their courage and commitment they put in their writing. Then they congratulated the longlist. “To those on the long list, congratulations. This is an important step in the journey, and we look forward to what comes next.”

The shortlist will be announced on September 10, and the winner on September 15.

Additional, there is program by the prize for interested writers to attend at LitFest YouRead Library, Lagos. The program will take place on September 25, 2026. Registration for the LitFest is on and tickets are selling fast.
